  • Microprogrammation: découverte d'une méthode de minimisation des algorithmes de décision binaire.
  • Architecture des processeurs: collaboration à la conception et réalisation de plusieurs processeurs à architecture dédiée, dont certains ont été commercialisés.
  • Systèmes reconfigurables: application des circuits de type FPGA (Field-Programmable Gate Arrays) à la réalisation des processeurs reconfigurables, adaptables à l'application.
  • Conception des circuits digitaux bio-inspirés: utilisation de certaines caractéristiques des êtres vivants pour concevoir des circuits digitaux auto-réparables et évolutifs. Coordinateur du projet de recherche européen Perplexus (www.perplexus.org).
